Although the term “mompreneur” was coined in recent times, moms and moms-to-be have always been savvy leaders, innovators, and jugglers. Yet, there is no roadmap for establishing a business or career that you are both passionate about and that supports motherhood. Many women have to create this opportunity for themselves, which can be a daunting task.
Fortunately, emerging trends in business, modern technology, and social media combined with the shifting cultural expectations about careers and work/life balance present the perfect opportunity for a new generation of mompreneurs to carve their own path in business.
In order to support this mission, Salt & Nectar and Club MomMe have teamed up to host an evening where aspiring and established mompreneurs can come together in a supportive and collaborative environment.
The evening will feature a panel discussion with SoCal-based entrepreneurs, questions and answers, and plenty of time to network and talk about the rewards and challenges of creating your own business while raising a family, maintaining a home, and managing it all without losing your sanity.
Moderator Christine Hassler, Life Coach and Author, will be joined by featured panelists:
Jessica Alba, The Honest Company
Leslie Newton, timi & leslie
Sandy Abrams, Moisture Jamzz, Inc. and your idea, inc.
Jeannie Savage, Details Details Wedding & Event Planning
Erin Condren, ErinCondren.com
Laura Filipowicz, Bag Lady Promotions and HerReview.com
Galit Hadari Laibow, ink Public Relations
Dinner and refreshments by Kitchit will be served, and all attendees will receive a gift bag and a chance to win raffle items like Honest Company products, a gorgeous timi & leslie bag, a graphic design session, wardrobe styling from a celebrity stylist, a copy of your idea, inc. and many more!
