{Featured Friday Review & Giveaway} iLuv Drawing!
Make no bones about it. We are iPad people. We watch PBS on the iPad. We read books on the iPad. We play games on the iPad. We love the iPad.
As a result, I'm always on the lookout for fun new games for Griffin to enjoy. His young age can make that search a little difficult at times because so many of the apps are designed for older children. However, any app that features drawing is always a big hit. So, I was super-excited to try out the iLuv Drawing! series from Learn With Fun Apps. The series includes apps for both iPad and iPhone. There is iLuv Drawing Animals!, iLuv Drawing People!, iLuv Drawing Monsters!, iLuv Drawing Dinosaurs!, AND a free iLuv Drawing Santa! app for the holidays!
The apps feature easy to follow instructions voiced by a child and very user-friendly interface that requires very little interference from mom or dad, which makes sense since it was developed by a mother for her young children! Griffin chose the monsters and animals apps to try out and he had a blast making his own creations and showing them to me.
We've been working a lot on improving his tracing skills so he can start tracing numbers and letters. This app was a great (and sneaky) way for him to improve his fine motor skills by tracing things that are a lot more fun like monsters. What I really liked though was not only did he get to work on his tracing but then his creativity could take over coloring it in or adding stickers and extras.

Im up for trying the monsters or dinosaurs one. I need to find some new apps, and free is always better!

My nephews LOVE the iPad! I will do this for them because they are always on mine:) They adore animals, so that would be a great one to try out!
Parker would love the animals, dinos or monsters! I think animals would be our pick though!
